Based in Knebworth, Hertfordshire, Hattie has taught the flute for over fifteen years, from beginners through to advanced level students. She has taught masterclasses at Trinity College of Music for both postgraduates and undergraduates.

An experienced flute teacher, Hattie has an extensive knowledge and experience of the repertoire for flute, performing and teaching, and is on the team of the UK's most inspirational flute course A Breath of Fresh Air, run by Anna Noakes.

Together with London Flutes, Hattie runs workshops for business and schools, teaching communication through musicianship.
